RUAS marks 9th convocation

Srinagar, Jan 7: Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences (RUAS) celebrated its 9th annual convocation on January 3.

This milestone event marked the successful completion of education by 1,910 students including 32 Ph D scholars, 670 postgraduates, and 1208 undergraduates who have completed their academic programmes with excellence. For their exceptional academic achievements, 102 students were honoured with gold and silver medals.

The ceremony was attended by members and parents making it a momentous occasion for both the university and its graduates. Prof Mamidala Jagdish Kumar, was the chief guest and conferred the degrees to the graduates.

Prof Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar, chief guest and the Chairman of the University Grants Commission, addressed the graduates with an educative, informative and inspiring message. In his speech, he said, “My congratulations to all of you who have received the degrees and awards in the 9th convocation of the university.
