RS polls: NC claims three spots, results pending for fourth seat

Srinagar, Oct 24: The Jammu & Kashmir National Conference (NC) has secured victory in at least three of the four Rajya Sabha seats from the Union Territory, while the results for the remaining one seat are still awaited.

According to official disclosures, senior NC leader Choudhary Mohammad Ramzan won one seat, securing 58 votes in the legislative assembly poll which saw 86 MLAs cast ballots. Sajad Ahmad Kichloo of the party won the second and third seats.

The vote count is expected to conclude later today.
