Rohit Kansal, two more AGMUT cadre IAS officers receive proforma promotion

New Delhi, June 30: Three IAS officers of the AGMUT cadre—Rohit Kansal, Sajjan Singh Yadav, and Varsha Joshi, all from the 1995 batch and currently serving on Central Deputation—have been granted Proforma Promotion to the Apex Scale. 

This promotion will be effective from the date their immediate junior in the cadre assumes charge.

Additionally, the Ministry of Home Affairs has promoted senior IAS officer Keshav Chandra of the AGMUT cadre (1995 batch) to the Apex Scale (Level-17 in the Pay Matrix), with effect from July 1, 2025, or from the date he assumes charge, whichever is later.

The promotion comes following the recommendations of the Screening Committee, which held its meeting on December 19, 2024.

The order was issued by Rakesh Kumar Singh, Under Secretary to the Government of India, with approval from the competent authority.
