Road safety awareness programme held in Leh

Kargil, Jan 21: A road safety awareness programme was conducted in Leh.

Reports said the traffic wing of Ladakh Police, in collaboration with RTO Leh, Jammu and Kashmir Bank, and United Insurance, orchestrated an impactful road safety awareness session for Bikers’ Association Leh as part of the Road Safety Awareness Month, that begins from January 15 to February 14.

The session delved into various road safety measures and central government schemes. During the event, Senior Manager from Jammu Kashmir Bank Toldan and a representative from United India Insurance Rinchen highlighted various central government initiatives and schemes such as Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana and Atal Pension Yojana.
