RISE Institute students shine in JEE Advanced 2024, dominate Kashmir rankings

Srinagar, June 11: RISE Institute has scripted a tale of triumph in the realm of academic prowess in Kashmir with 14 students from the institute cracking this year JEE (Advanced) test.

“The recently unveiled results of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2024 bear testimony to the exceptional capabilities of RISE students, who have not only surpassed conventional boundaries but have also etched their names atop Kashmir's academic echelons,” said the Institute’s co-founder Salman Shahid.

In this year's JEE Advanced examination, Zeeshan Shabir, a prodigious talent from RISE, has clinched the prestigious top position in Kashmir, securing a stellar rank of 2070. Joining him in the league of excellence is Daniyal Masoodi, whose remarkable performance has earned him the second position in Kashmir with a commendable rank of 2950.

“These outstanding achievements reflect the rigorous academic training and holistic development imparted at RISE, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation among its students,” added Salman.

He said the success saga extends beyond individual accomplishments. A remarkable total of 14 students from RISE have emerged triumphant in the JEE Advanced 2024, a testament to their unwavering dedication, resilience, and unwavering support from the RISE faculty.

This collective achievement underscores RISE's commitment to nurturing talent and shaping future leaders who will contribute positively to society.

Currently, 5-10 students from our institute are making it to IITs every year, which is a significant improvement compared to earlier times. However, we believe this number can be much higher, and our goal over the next five years is to increase this significantly,' said Salman, co-founder of RISE Educational Institute. 'Before we started RISE, awareness about JEE in Kashmir was very limited. Typically, only one or two students would make it to IITs every 2-3 years, and that too after studying in places like Kota. We wanted to change that by providing quality JEE coaching locally and making students aware of the opportunities available to them."
