Rich tributes paid to slain policeman in Ramban

Ramban, May 22:   Ramban Police paid rich tributes to the martyr policeman at his native village in Ukhral on Wednesday.

Police said on the direction of SSP Ramban Anuj Kumar a special police team visited the native village of martyr Muzaffer Ahmed at Ukhral to pay tributes on his death anniversary, who sacrificed his life in the line of duty.

The team consisting of DySP DAR Ramban, SDPO Banihal along with SHO and IC PP interacted with his family members upon reaching the village. It has been reiterated that all possible help and support would be extended to the family by the J&K police. They were also assured that their grievances would be redressed.

In memory of the martyr, the memorial plank in the DPL Ramban was lit up with candles to honour his valour, courage and the supreme sacrifice that he made for his motherland.
