Restore statehood to J&K: Karra

Poonch, Feb 15: Criticising the BJP for “betraying and disempowering the residents of Jammu and Kashmir,”  Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) Chief Tariq Hameed Karra on Saturday reiterated the demand of restoring statehood without any delay.

According to a press release, he  was addressing a convention in  Poonch today as part of 15 day long campaign “Hamari Riyasat Hamara Haq” besides the nationwide “Jai Bapu,Jai Bhim,Jai Samvidhan. Karra regretted that instead of fulfilling the demand of restoring statehood, the BJP-led government at the Centre has indulged into deceitful tactics to befool the people.

Karra also criticised the BJP for neglecting the border belt of Poonch-Rajouri in matters of railway and road connectivity, infrastructure development, employment and overall governance during its 10 year rule.
