‘Restore glory of Shaher-e-Khaas’ | Downtown traders call on CEO SSCL

Srinagar, Dec 29: Traders of Shaher-e-Khaas today called on CEO Srinagar Smart City Ltd (SSCL) AtharAamir Khan and urged him to restore the glory of the Old City.

A delegation of Shaher-e-Khaas Traders Alliance was led by its president Nazir Ahmad Shah. The traders demanded completion of SR Gunj Hospital, construction of parking slots in Downtown and closure of garbage dump at BohriKadal.

“We urged the CEO to take measures to restore the glory of Shaher-e-Khaas which is thronged by tourists. We apprised him about the historic importance of Downtown. He assured to redress our demands and announced to complete all ongoing works by March next year,” Shah said.

Other members of the alliance who attended the meeting included AkhtarRasool, Owais, InayatBhat and Sohail.
