Residents of Bhat Lane decry inordinate delay in macadamisation

Srinagar, Aug 31: Residents of Bhat Lane 1, near Mushtaq Colony at Hyderpora have decried inordinate delay in macadamisation of the road in their area.

A group of residents from Bhat Lane said that despite the passing of a decade, the road has not been macadamised.

“In the absence of macadamisation, the road has developed potholes hampering pedestrian and vehicular movement.

During rains, the uneven road gets waterlogged and residents face problems to venture out of their houses.

The residents appealed Deputy Commissioner Srinagar and SMC Commissioner to direct the concerned officials to redress the issue,” they added.
