Residents of Bagh-Ali-Mardan resent power outages

Srinagar, Nov 24: Residents of Bagh-Ali-Mardan area in Downtown have demanded installation of additional transformer in the locality.

A delegation from the locality said the transformer installed in the area is overloaded and develops frequent snags. “The transformer caters to a large number of houses and develops faults frequently plunging our area into darkness. Our lives have been affected in absence of frequent faults in the transformer. We urge Chief Engineer KPDCL to install additional transformer in the locality in tandem with the existing power load,” they said.
