On the basis of complaints of locals for delay in start of work despite sanctioning of funds last year, the Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Abhishek Sharma himself visited the area on Thursday wherein he was accompanied by officers of PMGSY. After directions issued by the Deputy Commissioner to immediately start the work, the department on Friday kickstarted the work on road bringing joy among locals. "We are highly thankful to Deputy Commissioner Rajouri who personally intervened in the matter and got the work started which was facing inordinate delay." said Subash Chander, a local resident.
