REK teacher Manzoor to officiate South Asian & India Soft Tennis Championships

Srinagar, Mar 15: Manzoor Ahmed, a REK teacher from Seri Chowana, District Poonch, has been selected as an umpire for two high-profile international soft tennis tournaments—the 2nd India International Soft Tennis Championship and the 1st South Asian Soft Tennis Championship.

As per a press release issued on Saturday, these tournaments are set to take place in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, from March 16 to 25, 2025, witnessing soft tennis players competing at the highest level.

Ahmed’s selection as an umpire is being hailed as a significant achievement for Poonch and the wider REK community.
