Reject August 5, 2019 decisions: Mehbooba to new govt

Srinagar, Oct 16: PDP President Mehbooba Mufti today asked the new J&K government to pass a resolution to reject the August 5, 2019 decisions of the central government.

She said that J&K having a new elected government after six years is a positive development.” I congratulate the news government. It is good that J&K has its own elected government, and this is a crucial period for the people. Since 2019, they have faced difficulties that the government needs to address," Mehbooba said.

"The new government should tackle the issues faced by the people on a large scale and pass a resolution condemning the August 5, 2019 decision. Additionally, the government should address unemployment, drug addiction, and other serious issues," she stated.

PDP President stated that people have given a full mandate to the NC, and it should fulfill the expectations of the people of J&K now that it is in power.
