Regularise daily wagers: BJP

Jammu, Mar 12: Senior BJP leader Dr Abhijeet Jasrotia today said that his party stands firm with daily wagers and demanded their immediate regularisation.

He was addressing the media. Jasrotia strongly reiterated the party’s unwavering commitment to securing justice for daily wagers, highlighting the decades of betrayal they have endured at the hands of successive governments.

He said that daily wagers have been struggling since 1996-97, initially appointed on false promises made by the National Conference (NC), followed by the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and Congress — all of whom played the same role of misleading and exploiting them.
