Srinagar, Sep 20: Al Samad Cricket Club powered to a dominant 84-run victory over The Real Sultan Sumerbugh in their Red Premier League Season 2 clash at Bakshi Stadium on Saturday, with all-rounder Ishtiyaq Elahi Robby starring with both bat and ball.

As per a statement, batting first, Al Samad Cricket Club posted a formidable total of 212/6 in 20 overs, with standout contributions from Ishtiyaq Elahi Robby (76 off 38 balls), Samar (42 off 22 balls), Aadil GuldoN (34 off 16 balls), and Aamir Lefty (37 off 33 balls).

The batting display was characterised by aggressive stroke play and consistent run-scoring throughout the innings.

In response, The Real Sultan Sumerbugh were bowled out for 128 in 17 overs, despite valiant efforts from Tajamul Baba (23 off 23 balls) and Sajad Ganaie (19 off 14 balls). The Al Samad bowlers, led by Ishtiyaq Elahi Robby, who finished with figures of 1/36 in 4 overs, kept the pressure on, consistently taking wickets and preventing partnerships.

Ishtiyaq Elahi Robby was named the Player of the Match for his all-round performance, top-scoring with 76 runs—including 10 fours and 4 sixes—and contributing a key wicket with the ball.
