Reasi terrorist attack | Protests held across Rajouri, Poonch districts

Rajouri, June 10: Protests were held today at different parts of Rajouri and Poonch districts against the terrorist attack on a bus and killing of the pilgrims in Reasi yesterday.

In Rajouri, protest was held at Salani bridge chowk of Rajouri town by Antarrashtriya Hindu Parishad and Rashtriya Bajrang Dal while activists of Bajrang Dal and Vishav Hindu Parishad also staged a protest at tehsil chowk of Rajouri town.

Alongside, activists of civil society held a protest demonstration at Kotranka Chowk in the district while a similar protest by VHP workers took place at Sunderbani chowk of the district.

In Poonch district, multiple protests by different social and religious organisations took place in Poonch district areas.

In these protests, the people burnt effigy of Pakistan and raised slogans against terrorism and called for exemplary punishment against the terrorists involved in attack as well as those who facilitated the attack.
