Khalid Jehangir, voiced his concerns about the motives behind these terror activities. "These ruthless terror attacks have only one objective: to disrupt the economy of Kashmir," he said. "They want to prove Kashmir is unsafe. That's their only mission." Jehangir's remarks come at a time when Kashmir is striving to attract investment and boost tourism, which has been severely impacted by decades of terrorism. The terror attack has not only claimed innocent lives but also instilled fear among the local population and potential visitors. "Unfortunately, Pakistan sponsored terrorists kill everything which is linked with Kashmir," Jehangir lamented, highlighting the broader impact of Pakistan -sponsored terrorism on J&K’s socio-economic fabric.  He expressed frustration that these critical issues are often overlooked. "Nobody talks about it," he added, emphasizing the need for a more comprehensive discourse on the ramifications of terrorism in Kashmir.

In light of the recent violence, Jehangir made a fervent appeal to all sections of society to rise against the terror menace. "A request: instead of tweets, everyone should come out and speak against them. Political leaders, civil society, trade bodies, we common Kashmiris cannot be mute spectators," he urged.
