Reasi attack a dastardly act, nation stands with victim families: President Murmu
Srinagar, June 10: President Droupadi Murmu Monday said the terrorist attack on a bus carrying pilgrims in J&K’s Reasi was a “dastardly act”, and the nation stood with the victim’s families.
Taking to micro-blogging site X (formerly twitter) the President of India in a post said: “I am anguished by the terrorist attack on a bus carrying pilgrims in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir. This dastardly act is a crime against humanity, and must be condemned in the strongest words. The nation stands with the families of the victims. I pray for the speedy recovery of the injured”.
Pertinently nine people were killed and thirty-three others injured as terrorists struck a bus carrying pilgrims from Uttar Pradesh in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday. Post-attack the joint security agencies have launched massive cordon and search operation in the area to nab the attackers.
