Srinagar, Oct 10: Real Kashmir FC demonstrated their championship credentials with a commanding 6-0 victory over Northall United FC in the My Youth My Pride Srinagar Premier Division Football League 2024-25 at TRC Synthetic Turf today.
RKFC wasted no time asserting their dominance, with Basit breaking the deadlock in just the second minute. The early goal set the tone for what would become a masterclass in attacking football. Asrar Rehbar extended the lead with a well-taken goal in the 26th minute before Sheikh Aqib made it 3-0 on the stroke of halftime.
The second half maintained the same intensity, with Ubaid finding the net in the 75th minute. Talib converted from the penalty spot in the 82nd minute, before Rehbar completed his brace with five minutes remaining, cementing the 6-0 scoreline.
In Super Division action, Forest XI produced an equally impressive offensive display, overwhelming Muslimeen United 7-2. The day's second Super Division fixture saw Old City FC secure a comfortable 2-0 victory against Athletic Club.
The A Division provided the day's most competitive encounter, with Shaheen FC and Alamdar B sharing the spoils in an entertaining 2-2 draw. Both teams displayed remarkable determination, creating numerous chances throughout the match.
