RDD Anantnag participates in vigilance awareness event

Anantnag, Oct 29: In continuation of the week-long Vigilance Awareness Programme themed “Vigilance – Our Shared Responsibility,” the Rural Development Department (RDD) Anantnag on Wednesday participated in an awareness event held at the Dak Bungalow, Anantnag.

The event was attended by Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) Anantnag Shafiq Wani (JKAS), Chief Prosecuting Officer (CPO) ACB Khurshid Satari, Executive Engineer REW Rubina Kousar, Professor Bilal from Women’s Degree College Anantnag, civil society member Rao Farman Malik, and lecturer Ifshana Mukhtar, among other dignitaries.

The programme saw active participation from Block Development Officers (BDOs), engineers of the Rural Engineering Wing (REW), Panchayat Secretaries, Gram Rozgar Sevaks (GRS), students, civil society members, representatives of the traders’ federation, and media persons.

The event began with the Integrity Pledge, followed by the screening of documentaries, presentation of case studies, guest lectures, and interactive question-and-answer sessions. A feedback questionnaire was also distributed among participants to assess awareness and engagement. The proceedings were hosted by Dr. Mudasser Tramboo, Deputy Superintendent of Police, ACB South Kashmir. The event concluded successfully with a formal vote of thanks.
