Resuming at a precarious 41 for 5, Rajasthan’s hopes of resistance were quickly dashed as Auqib Nabi continued his fiery spell, dismantling the lower order with pace and precision. He finished with a career-best 7 for 24, completing a remarkable match haul of 10 wickets, to go with his fluent 55-run knock in J&K’s first innings, an all-round performance that powered the hosts to win at home.

Earlier, J&K’s total of 282 in the first innings, built around fifties from Abdul Samad (76), Yudhvir Singh (53) and Auqib Nabi (55), had already put them in a commanding position after bowling out Rajasthan for 152 on Day 1.

The victory marked another dominant home performance for J&K, who controlled all three days with both bat and ball. Their pace attack, led by Nabi, proved too hot for Rajasthan to handle in the seamer-friendly conditions.

With this win, J&K have signalled their growing confidence and form early in the Ranji season, a comprehensive effort that will boost their standing in the group.
