Rana vows restoration of flood-hit infrastructure in Chhungan Nabni
Mendhar, Aug 2: Minister for Jal Shakti, Forest, Ecology & Environment and Tribal Affairs, Javed Ahmed Rana, on Saturday held a public outreach at Chhungan Nabni to address issues stemming from recent floods.
Locals raised concerns over damaged roads, disrupted water supply, and crumbling school infrastructure. Rana, joined by senior officials, directed immediate assessment and repair of road networks, stressing the importance of connectivity for local mobility and emergency response.
He assured residents of swift upgrades to water supply schemes under state and central programs, and announced audits and renovations of school buildings to improve educational facilities.
Reaffirming the government’s focus on tribal welfare and inclusive development, Rana urged coordinated efforts to ensure last-mile service delivery.
Officials accompanying the Minister pledged timely action on the minister’s directives.
