Ramban Police conduct mock drill at Chanderkot

Ramban, June 28: For smooth conduct of Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra, Ramban police conducted a mock drill at Chanderkot

Official sources said district Police Ramban conducted a mock drill to assess the preparation of the manpower deployed at the community kitchens (langer sites) in response to any untoward incident.

District Police Ramban along with sister agencies and medical teams of District Hospital Ramban, UTDRF and Fire and Emergency services participated in this mock drill.

Police officers said the exercise was conducted to monitor and assess quick and effective responses in case of any standoff attack, IED attack, Grenade lobbing and drone attack.

They further said the purpose of the drill is to ensure the safety and security of all pilgrims.
