Raman Bhalla visits flood-affected areas of Jammu, RS Pura

Jammu, Aug 27: Working President JKPCC Raman Bhalla conducted tour of different areas of Jammu, RS Pura areas to meet the affected people and took stock of the problems faced by them.

As per a press release, Bhalla visited different worst affected areas which were submerged in high volume of water causing huge loss to the private property especially the dwellings of people destroying the entire household items of regular use including the ration materials.

Bhalla visited Bhour camp, Bhour pind,Rohi More Lower Gadigarh,Chatha Gorkha Nagar ,Har ki Pouri, Malik Market Baghe Bahu ,Balicharana and several other areas and found lot of damage to the private property, houses besides government infrastructure. He demanded immediate ex gratia interim relief ,till proper assessment of the individual damage, especially to those who have lost entire household and livings. He said government should immediately provide free ration to those who are worst affected and their household items destroyed due to flow of water in their houses.
