Ram Navami celebrated with religious fervour across Rajouri, Poonch

Rajouri: The festival of Ram Navami was on Monday celebrated with religious fervor across Rajouri and Poonch districts with large number of people thronging the temples to pay obeisance.

Ramnavmi is a religious occasion and marks culmination of Navratris.

On Monday, a large number of people thronged the temples and other religious places where special religious events were held to mark the occasion.

Special prayers were also offered at these religious places and people prayed for peace and harmony.

At Manma Mata temple in Kalakote, Ramnavmi was celebrated with an event in which thousands of people participated with devotees from across Jammu and Kashmir reached at the ancient cave to offer prayers.

Similarly, a special event was organised at Mangla Mata ancient cave and temple in Nowshera where also a large number of devotees took part.
