Rajouri, Aug 19: Rakshabandhan, the festival marking bond of sister and brother love, was celebrated across the Rajouri and Poonch districts with religious, cultural and traditional fervour.

The festival has immense importance in society as it is considered as a festival that not only marks the bond of sister and brother but is also a day when a brother pledges to be a guardian of sister.

"Rakshabandhan is not only a festival for us but also an occasion of immense emotions," Manoj Bhargav said adding that the festival has no religious limitations and people from all walks of life now a days celebrate the festival.
