Rakesh Kumar takes charge as DC & CEO, LAHDC Kargil

Kargil, Jun 19: Rakesh Kumar, an IAS officer (AGMUT -2021) on Thursday took over as the Deputy Commissioner and Chief Executive Officer Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC) Kargil.

In a formal ceremony, the outgoing Deputy Commissioner of Kargil Shrikant Balasaheb Suse handed over charge to the newly transferred Deputy Commissioner in presence of the Senior Superintendent of Police, Additional Deputy Commissioner and other officers.

Shrikant Suse, who served as Deputy Commissioner of Kargil for the last two years, expressed gratitude to the LAHDC Kargil as well as UT administration for their support and guidance during his tenure. Suse also hailed the instrumental support provided by the officers and staff of Kargil’s DC Office and all district officers as well as district police in execution of developmental works and timely disposal of public grievances. The newly joined Deputy Commissioner, Rakesh Kumar expressed his commitment towards serving the people of Kargil with full dedication and stressed on continuing responsible and transparent administration as in the past.
