Rajnath, Yogi inaugurate defence manufacturing unit in Noida

Gautam Buddha Nagar, Aug 30: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday inaugurated a defence equipment and drone manufacturing unit, an aircraft engine facility, and an aerospace test centre in Gautam Buddha Nagar, giving a major boost to the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat.

CM Yogi described the project as a milestone in transforming Noida into a defence hub, noting that advanced drone systems and testing facilities would strengthen India’s preparedness for future warfare.

Defence Minister Singh and CM Yogi also visited an exhibition showcasing indigenous drones and electronic warfare systems. The event was attended by Chief of Defence Staff General Anil Chauhan, senior officials from the Ministry of Defence, and local representatives.
