Rajnath Singh extends Army Day greetings

New Delhi, Jan 15: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Thursday extended greetings to Indian Army personnel and their families on the occasion of Army Day.

In a message, the Defence Minister said the nation salutes the indomitable courage, supreme sacrifice and unwavering commitment of the Indian Army in safeguarding the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

He noted that the Army remains ever vigilant along the borders and steadfast during times of crisis, earning global respect for its professionalism, discipline and humanitarian service.

Rajnath Singh reaffirmed the government’s commitment to building a modern, self-reliant, and future-ready Army, and said the nation stands united in pride and gratitude for its soldiers.
