Rain damage residential house at Thathri

Ramban, Feb, 19:  A double-storey residential house was damaged due to heavy rains at Thathri area of Doda district on Monday.

A revenue department official said that one pakka house of Devinder Kumar son of Tek Chand resident of Ward no 3, Braman-Gunti Tehsil Thathri got damaged due to heavy rainfall.

Officials said no loss of life or injury to any family member was reported in this incident however the house suffered extensive damages.

Meanwhile, locals of the area have demanded that the district administration provide ex gratia relief in favour of the affected family.
