Rail service should be direct from Delhi: Hakeem Yaseen

Srinagar, Jan 11: Chairman Peoples Democratic Front (PDF ) and former Minister Hakeem MohmmadYaseen today said that the rain  service between New Delhi to Kashmir should be direct.

In a statement, he maintained that direct rail connectivity is essential to faciltate travel and promote local industries and businesses effectively. Yaseen  expressed disappointment on the decision  that there will be no direct train service from Delhi to Baramulla and instead passengers will have to change  the train at Katra and catch another train for Delhi.

While appreciating launch of Vande Bharat train  from Delhi - Katra-Baramulla  , he has urged the government to make the railway service direct from Delhi to Baramulla.
