Rahul Sharma appointed as Additional Chief Electoral Officer J&K

Srinagar, Aug 21: Rahul Sharma  an IAS of 2013 cadre has been appointed as Additional Chief Electoral Officer, Jammu and Kashmir.

As per an order issued by the government a copy of which lies with News Agency Kashmir News Corner— KNC, Rahul was a member of Special Tribunal J&K.

"In pursuance of the approval conveyed by the Election Commission of India vide letter No. 154/JK/2024-P.Adm dated 20.08.2024, Mr. Rahul Sharma, IAS (AGMUT:2013), Member, Special Tribunal, J&K is hereby appointed as Additional Chief Electoral Officer, Jammu and Kashmir with immediate effect," reads the order.
