Rahul Sharma appointed as Additional CEO

Jammu, Aug 21: The government Wednesday appointed senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer Rahul Sharma as Additional Chief Electoral Officer, Jammu and Kashmir with immediate effect, following approval by the Election Commission of India (ECI).

“In pursuance of the approval conveyed by the Election Commission of India vide letter No 154/JK/2024-P Adm dated August 20, 2024, Rahul Sharma, IAS (AGMUT: 2013), Member, Special Tribunal, J&K is hereby appointed as Additional Chief Electoral Officer, Jammu and Kashmir with immediate effect,” read an order issued by Commissioner Secretary, GAD.
