Rafi Mir chairs workers’ meeting in south Kashmir’s Sallar

Srinagar, Oct 10: Former MLA Pahalgam Rafi Ahmad Mir on Friday chaired a pivotal workers’ meeting at Sallar, reaffirming his commitment to strengthening grassroots democracy and holding the government accountable. The meeting witnessed enthusiastic participation from workers, youth representatives, and community leaders.

Addressing the gathering, Mir emphasised the need for renewed political engagement at the grassroots level and urged the cadre to intensify outreach efforts across the region. He called on workers to prepare for a proactive political campaign aimed at ensuring transparency, accountability, and public-centric governance, said a press release.

“The time has come to make the government answerable to the people,” Mir said. “Our cadre must stand united in highlighting public grievances and ensuring that the administration delivers on its promises.”
