Rafeeq Masoodi congratulates Sangeet Natak Akademi awardees

Srinagar, Feb 28: Abdul Gafar Kanihami and Gulzar Ahmad Bhat have been honored with the prestigious Sangeet Natak Akademi Award for 2023.

The recognition by the highest authority in Music and Theatre in India is a testament to their outstanding contributions to the field.

Kanihami has elevated the Kashmiri folk music while Gulzar Bhat has successfully revived the dying folk theatre of Kashmir.

Expressing his admiration, Dr Rafeeq Masoodi, former Secretary of the Cultural Academy and Patron of Adbi Markaz Kamraz, extended heartfelt congratulations to both awardees.
