Rabta 2.0 Mushaira held in collaboration with Aryans Group

Srinagar, June 23: Rabta 2.0 – Sukhanwaron ka Sangam, a mushaira celebrating contemporary Urdu poetry, was held at the local Art Gallery in Sector 10. The event was organised in collaboration with Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, near Chandigarh.

A statement said that Sonia Rai, founder of Raabta, expressed gratitude to Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman of Aryans Group, for consistently supporting the initiative. Convenor Prof. Naveen also appreciated the college group for encouraging such cultural events in the tricity region.

On behalf of Aryans Group, Dr. Garima Thakur, Deputy Director, was felicitated during the event. The mushaira featured notable poets from across cities, who captivated the audience with their diverse compositions.

Prominent participants included Sonia Rai, Azrul Haq Sahil, Nand Kishore Anhad, Shamsher Sahil, Riyaz Tariq, Varun Anand, Amardeep Singh, Mahendra Sani, Amir Imam, Musavvir Ferozpur, and Mukesh Alam. The poets shared verses on contemporary issues, social themes, and personal reflections, resonating deeply with the audience.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from young poetry lovers. Organisers announced that the “Rabta” series would continue, aiming to foster a love for shayari and literature among the younger generation.

The evening concluded with a vote of thanks to all poets and attendees.
