'Quick settlement of insurance claims relieves families of J&K Bank customers'

Srinagar, Feb 2: In a massive relief to the bereaved families, J&K Bank facilitated the swift settlement of insurance claims of fifteen deceased borrowers who belonged to the Baramulla Zone and had their accounts in different branches of the Bank.

A statement said that the claims worth Rs Forty-three lakh and Ninety-Five Thousand (Rs 43.95 Lakh) under MetLoan & Life Suraksha (MLLS) were paid to the legal heirs of the deceased customers during the last few months.

The Bank’s Cluster Head (Baramulla) Sheikh Muhammad Muzaffar handed over one of the symbolic cheques to the nominee and legal heir of a deceased customer in presence of Zonal Head (Credit Life - PNB MetLife) Irfan Ali Zargar, Branch Head (Azad Gunj) Mohammad Yaqoob and other officials of the Bank and PNB MetLife including Regional Manager Showkat Ahmad Lone.
