Qazi Abdul Qayoom promoted as Joint Director in Prosecution Deptt

Srinagar, Nov 2: The Home Department of Jammu and Kashmir Thursday ordered the promotion of Deputy Director Qazi Abdul Qayoom to the position of Joint Director within the Prosecution Department.

The order in this regard was issued by the Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) of the Home Department, Raj Kumar Goyal.

The promotion of Qazi Abdul Qayoom from Deputy Director to Joint Director has been granted following the recommendations put forth by the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission.
“As recommended by the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission, the sanction is hereby accorded to the promotion of Qazi Abdul Qayoom, Deputy Director as Joint Director in the Prosecution Department,” the order reads.

The promotion, as per the order, is subject to any potential legal proceedings, including writ petitions, appeals, original applications or transferred applications, if there are any, pending cases before competent courts of law or tribunals.
