Qayoom Wani grieved over death of trade union leader

Srinagar, Nov 13: Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Civil Society Forum (JKCSF)and Former president EJAC Abdul Qayoom Wani has expressed grief and sorrow on the demise of trade union leader Ram Kumar.

In a statement , Wani said his demise is a personal loss to him . He said that the deceased was a honest , sincere and courageous trade union leader having no substitute in employee movement and his demise is big loss to the employees’ movement which can never be filled .

Wani said that he spent a long time with him during employees’ movement in J&K and that he always stood by him and walked hand in hand with him to resolve the issues of employees . “His struggle as a great employee leader will be remembered for ever and will be written in the history of trade unionism with golden words ,” he said.

Wani will leave for Jammu along with others to offer condolences to his family and to express sympathy and solidarity with them at this difficult time.
