Qayoom Wani expresses grief on demise of former Commissioner Secretary G A Peer

Srinagar, Aug 03: Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Civil Society Forum and President Pensioners United Front, Abdul Qayoom Wani expressed grief and sorrow on the demise of G A Peer, Former Commissioner Secretary.

Wani said that the deceased was a great son of the soil. He was an upright & honest officer and down to earth human being who served the people of Jammu Kashmir in different capacities as an ideal bureaucrat. I have worked with him for a long time with him as Director of School Education and Commissioner Secretary Education, he said.

Wani said that he has contributed a lot in the education system of Jammu and Kashmir with sincerity as son of the soil. He said that the deceased was an affectionate friend and guide of mine.

Wani also said that his contribution will be remembered forever.

He prayed for Jannat-ul-Firdous to the departed soul and courage to the bereaved family members especially his son and wife at this difficult time. All the leaders of JKCSF and JKPUF expressed sympathy and solidarity with the bereaved family members.

Wani urged upon the leaders of JKCSF and JKPUF from south kashmir to attend the residence of the deceased at Seer Hamdan Ananthnag to express sympathy with the bereaved family members.
