Qayoom Wani expresses concern

Srinagar, Nov 3 : Jammu and Kashmir Civil Society Forum and Former President EJAC Abdul Qayoom Wani has expressed serious concern on a government order regarding the employees.

In a statement, he said the order prohibits employees to show their concern about their legitimate rights through peace protests. Wani said that instead of issuing such harsh order government should have invited employees leadership for talks to reach out to any impeccable solution to their genuine demands .

Wani said besides duties the employees deserve rights also and “we should believe in duty breeds rights and it is the moral obligation of any government to protect the rights of their employees and today we witness the government action contrary to the what employees deserve. Chairman civil society forum urged upon the government to roll back this order for the larger interests of the society and explore the ways for negotiation with the employees leadership instead of snatching them the right to peaceful way of expressing their concerns.
