Qayoom Wani criticises delay in release

Srinagar, May 15: Abdul Qayoom Wani, Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Civil Society Forum and President Pensioners United front has expressed concern over the  continuous delay in releasing pension, gratuity, leave salary and commutation despite repeated representations by his organisations to the government.

According to a press  release, he was speaking at a meeting here. In the meeting it was observed that government has taken all the pensioners and employees for granted  and that they are being  treated as bonded labourers.

Wani said that none of the issues of pensioners, senior  citizens and employees are  being taken seriously reasons best known to the people at the helm of affairs.
