Punjab-based nature artist calls on CM
Srinagar, Oct 19: Punjab-based eminent author, nature artist, and former Additional Advocate General Harpreet Sandhu presented special art showcasing “Pride of Peacock Glory of India” to Chief Minister Omar Abdullah at his Gupkar residence.
In a statement, Sandhu said he presented his art piece to Omar Abdullah. “During the meeting Dr Farooq Abdullah, in his signature charismatic manner, extended heartfelt remarkable words in bridging Punjab and Kashmir and acknowledged how this connection has fostered a deeper sense of love and brotherhood between the two regions,” Sandhu said. “Both leaders expressed their shared vision that by uniting Punjab and Kashmir, they can propel India to unparalleled greatness, creating a future of unity and prosperity for the nation,” he said.
The statement said that Dr Abdullah appreciated Sandhu’s gesture towards promoting Punjab State cultural, heritage and tourism natural locations through his crafted pictorial brochure and traditional stole adorned with Punjabi alphabets illustrating importance of culture in Srinagar.
“Chief Minister Omar Abdullah will certainly augur well for the upliftment of Kashmir keeping in view his considerable previous experience, qualification and above all the rich administrative political legacy,” Sandhu added.
