The meeting placed strong focus on the implementation of social security schemes including PMJDY, PMJJBY, PMSBY, and APY. The DDC directed banks to speed up enrolments, hold awareness camps at block and panchayat levels, and ensure saturation in a time-bound manner.

Progress under Mission YUVA, NRLM, RSETI skill development programmes, and Kisan Credit Card (KCC) financing was also reviewed. Dr Qayoom urged banks to reduce pendency in disbursal of credit and to strengthen priority sector lending for the economic empowerment of youth and unemployed beneficiaries.
