Pulwama gunfight: Two terrorists killed, operation on

Srinagar, June 03: Two terrorists have been killed in an ongoing encounter between security forces and terrorists in the Nihama area of south Kashmir's Pulwama district on Monday.

A top police officer told Srinagar based news agency Kashmir Scroll said that two terrorists have been killed by security forces in Nihama Pulwama whose identity is yet to be ascertained.

Earlier on a specific input, the joint team of Police, Army and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation in Nihama area.

As the joint team of forces intensified searches towards the suspected spot, the hiding terrorists fired upon the forces, triggering a gunfight in the area.
