Pulwama, July 07: The District Magistrate Pulwama has constituted a high-level inquiry committee to investigate allegations of medical negligence following the death of Tayamusa Jan, wife of Mohammad Ayoub Dar, a resident of Armullah Litter.

According to the order, the committee has been formed to thoroughly examine the circumstances that led to the woman’s death and determine whether any breach of duty or lack of medical care contributed to the incident.

With Assistant Commissioner Revenue (Additional District Magistrate), Pulwama as Chairman, the committee comprises Tehsildar, Litter as member. Deputy Superintendent of Police, Pulwama as member. Dr. Mohd Ayoub Bhat, Consultant Surgeon, District Hospital Pulwama as member, it reads.

Dr. Liza Rafiq, Consultant Gynaecologist, District Hospital Pulwama as member. Dr. Hanief, Anaesthetist, CHC Rajpora as member, it reads.
