Srinagar, Jul 18: Punjab Unaided Colleges Association (PUCA), scholarships worth Rs 50 crore will be announced for students from Bihar during an education summit in Patna on July 19.

As per a statement issued by PUCA,  the event, to be held at Hotel Gargee Grand, is being organised in collaboration with the Educational Counselors Welfare Association (ECWA).

The statement said that over 20 leading colleges from Punjab and around 300 education consultants from Bihar will participate in the summit. Each participating college will offer scholarships worth Rs 2.5 crore to meritorious students from the state.

Dr. Anshu Kataria, President of PUCA and Chairman of Aryans Group of Colleges, said the initiative aims to enhance educational collaboration between Punjab and Bihar and open new opportunities for students seeking quality education outside their home state.

ECWA President Abhishek Kumar, as per the statement, welcomed the initiative and urged for more such programs in future. Senior PUCA members including Adv. Amit Sharma and several noted educationists from Punjab will attend the summit.

Institutions such as Aryans Group, Doaba Group, Amritsar Group, Ashoka Group, and others are expected to participate, reaffirming PUCA’s commitment to making higher education more accessible across regions.
