PUCA marks 9th Foundation Day
Srinagar, Mar 1: A meeting of Punjab Unaided Colleges Association (PUCA) held under the leadership of Dr. Anshu Kataria, President of PUCA, Punjab Unaided Technical Institute Association (PUTIA) and Chairman of Aryans Group of Colleges, in Chandigarh, wherein S. Satnam Singh Sandhu, Member of Rajya Sabha was the special guest during 9th Foundation Day of PUCA.
Renowned educationists Sh. Ashwani Sekhri, S. Manjit Singh, Dr. Gurmeet Dhaliwal, Gurvinder Singh, Sandeep Kaura, S. Gurdyal Singh Buttar, Dr. Guninderjit Singh Jawandha, among other luminaries were present. The theme for the day was "Making Punjab the Destination for Technical Education."
On the occasion around 300-400 educationists from various technical colleges assured that they will remain resolutely committed to delivering high-quality education, coupled with excellent internship and placement opportunities. It was mentioned that despite the immigration ban, Punjab's colleges and universities will stand ready to welcome students, ensuring their educational and career prospects remain unhindered.
- Satnam Singh Sandhu congratulated PUCA team for their remarkable contributions to the educational landscape. He lauded Dr. Kataria's relentless advocacy for unaided colleges in Punjab, as well as his pivotal role in addressing national educational challenges that have affected 16-17 states.
Dr. Anshu Kataria urged institutions to collaborate and work towards positioning Punjab as a global educational hub, attracting students from all over the world. He encouraged colleges to provide outstanding education and foster placements in reputable organizations, ensuring students need not seek opportunities abroad.
Gurvinder Singh, Chancellor of Bahra University, reaffirmed that all educational institutions in Punjab are united in their mission to advance both technical and non-technical education, not only within the state but throughout the country.
Sandeep Kaura, Chancellor of Lamrin Tech Skill University, emphasized Punjab's state-of-the-art infrastructure, particularly for students pursuing careers in healthcare. He underscored that students from across the globe can benefit from world-class healthcare programs offered in the state.
