Provide relief to earthquake affected people in Langate: AIP

Srinagar, Aug 25: Senior Awami Itihaad Party (AIP) leader and District Development Council (DDC) Member from Mawar, Khursheed Ahmad Dar has called for urgent relief measures following the recent earthquake that has impacted the Langate area.

In a statement, Khursheed Ahmad Dar stressed the need for a thorough and immediate damage assessment in Langate, urging the Lieutenant Governor’s administration to take swift action in providing relief to those affected.

"The Langate area has been significantly impacted by the earthquake, leaving many families in a vulnerable state. It is imperative that the LG administration promptly conducts a detailed damage assessment and ensures that relief reaches every affected household," Dar stated.

He emphasised that the affected residents in Langate constituency are in dire need of assistance, including shelter, food and medical support.

"The administration must act quickly to deliver essential aid to the people of Langate constituency, who are currently facing immense hardship due to the earthquake," Dar added.
