Protean upgrades NPS App for young investors

Srinagar, Feb 21: Protean eGov Technologies has launched an upgraded version of its ‘NPS by Protean’ app, enhancing retirement planning for both new and existing National Pension System (NPS) account holders.

A statement said that available on Android and iOS, the app features a user-friendly interface and improved security measures, making it ideal for tech-savvy young investors. New users can register easily using eKYC, Digi Locker, or CKYC, while the app includes a personalized Retirement Goal Planner to help users strategize their investments.

Security is a priority with the implementation of MPIN and biometric login. Activating a Tier II account is simpler than before, thanks to an integrated step-by-step guide. Additionally, the app introduces a “One-Way Switch” feature, allowing users to transfer funds seamlessly between their accounts.

Suresh Sethi, MD & CEO of Protean eGov Technologies, highlighted the app’s role in promoting financial inclusion and supporting young investors in their retirement planning journey. The upgraded app aims to empower users to manage their retirement savings effectively within the NPS framework.
